The purpose of this blog, though I’m sure there is one, still seems elusive to me. However as I’m no longer a student and no one is assigning me essays, I’m hoping to use this as a place to share ideas that are perhaps more wide-reaching than the travel blog I had in the past.

For those of you reading this who don’t know me, I just returned from living in England for a year, where I was hammering out an MA, and now find myself working full time with the rest of the people in the real world. I’m a little more existentially lost than usual and I’ve found myself reading a lot and scribbling down thoughts in order to clear my head.

I’m stuggling a lot with how to live a fulfilling and aware life in a country as bountiful as Canada. I’m lucky enough to be a university educated woman who is not of a visible minority, with a life I have had opportunities to build myself. I am a feminist and often feel over whelmed by the feminist project itself- there’s so much to do, so much to say. All I can do is attempt to Dive into the Wreck and situate myself in this vast ocean, and discover with fresh eyes what is written on my body.
